Our project, SoulBuddy, is an AI-powered spiritual guide that bridges the gap between ancient Vedic wisdom and modern technology. Built using DataStax Astra DB and Langflow, SoulBuddy offers personalized spiritual insights and guidance. Users can input their birth details, mood, and reflections, and the app calculates their zodiac sign using real-time celestial data. It also generates an interactive Kundali (horoscope) chart as an SVG visualization. Along with tailored daily guidance, meditation suggestions, and spiritual insights, users can engage in a conversational experience through an AI-powered chat interface for spiritual advice and wisdom.

In today’s busy world, SoulBuddy addresses the challenge of making spiritual growth and self-reflection accessible and personalized. It blends scalable data management, AI workflows, and celestial calculations to provide a seamless user experience. Despite challenges like real-time geolocation-based zodiac calculations and SVG Kundali generation, our team overcame them to create an innovative platform. SoulBuddy empowers users to connect with their spiritual selves, offering guidance and wisdom that fits into modern lifestyles.

Challenges I ran into 🙅‍♂️

• - Integrating astronomical calculations with geolocation data reusing ephem library and geopy for accurate coordinate handling. - Creating responsive SVG Kundali charts - solved with viewBox scaling and fluid layouts. - Finding the api keys
